The community has easy access to New York City with seven-day-a-week bus service and transit trains to Hoboken and Path connections to the World Trade Center and Penn Station. The town provides medical services through two hospitals. The town has also been called a cultural mecca for its size by New Jersey Monthly magazine. Jazz clubs and four theatrical companies provide enterainment for visitors and residents alike. Montclair is also the home of Montclair State University.
